Site Moved. Done with WoW.

As I previously mentioned, I decided at the beginning of the school year to take a hiatus from WoW.
It was getting repetitive, and work (and now home ownership) takes up quite a bit of my time. I also couldn’t help but look back at my summer off from school and think, “I didn’t accomplish half of what I wanted to.” That’s probably because I spent most of my time playing WoW… Oops.
I started playing as the Burning Crusade was launched, so I think that the eve of Lich King is a good time to officially call it quits. It was great fun, and I’m sure it still could be. But it’s for the best for WoW and I to go our separate ways.
I do, however, plan on maintaining this blog - just on other game related topics. Hey, I can’t work all the time. For the next couple of weeks, I’ll probably be focused on Fallout 3 - which I picked up and loved.
I just finished porting all of the posts and comments from this blog to a new one - Life of Brian. The site is intended to include a variety of topics, so I’ve created a handful of distinct sub-pages so that you can easily follow only the articles/topics that you find interesting.
All of this old WoW stuff and any new gaming discussion will be located at Nerds at Play. The subpage has its own RSS separate from the rest of the other sites.
In case your interested, the other topics (at the moment) are:
- Nerds at Work: A collection of articles about web development, web design, and content management. I plan on porting over all of the articles from my old site and continuing to write on the topic.
- Teach Them Well: Resources for educators as well as thoughts and opinions about the state of the American educational system. Again, I plan on porting some articles from an old site and then continuing to write on the subject.
- My Old House: This topic is entirely new… because I just bought a house! Woot. It’s old (originally built in the 1920’s) and I’ve got a fairly long list of projects on the “to do” list. I plan on chronicling them on the site in the months to come.
- Life of Brian: This is the name of the site, as well as a catch-all category for other things about “my life.” I have a lot of other interests that I’d love to write about but that wouldn’t sustain a long-term project.
