Don’t Make Other People Wait

Time is precious. Time is money. Time is scarce.
When you are playing with other people, remember this. If you are wasting their time, you are wasting something valuable and limited.
If You Find a Group, Stop Doing Dailies…
If I don’t have enough guildies on to make a run somewhere, I’ll often jump in the LFG queue. While I’m browsing the queues and spamming the LFG channel, I go about doing dailies or farming something.
I don’t have all day to play, so I don’t want to waste 30-45 minutes of it sitting still looking for a group. By farming and looking for a group at the same time, I get two things done… and don’t spend any time idle.
The other day, I was looking for a group for the Heroic daily - Black Morass. It didn’t turn out well. Regardless, the annoying part was the last member of the group that we picked up. He claimed he was just finishing his dailies and that he’d be ready in a moment.
I assumed he had to go hand in a quest and that he’d be ready for a summon in a minute or so. 15 minutes later, we were still waiting. The four of us were already in Caverns of Time, and we were ready to start. Two of the group members got fed up and left. They simply didn’t want to waste their time waiting while someone else kept farming.
Stop What You’re Doing, Finish It Later
Once you find a full group, stop what you’re doing. If people only have 2-3 hours to play, they probably only have time to do one instance run. They can’t afford to waste a lot of time - they need to get down to business and get things done.
Even if you have all day to play, assume other people do not. And act accordingly.
