More Reputation Guides: Cenarion Expedition, Sha’tar, Lower City, and Keepers of Time

Once you’re Revered with Honor Hold, you’ll no doubt have moved on to Zangarmarsh or Terokkar Forest to continue questing and levelling. Beware! If you carelessly complete quests that grant reputation for the major factions, you’ll simply slow down the reputation grind that you will have to engage in later.
I wrote two more guides for WoW Pro, including Cenarion Expedition Reputation - Getting to Revered As Quickly As Possible and Sha’tar Reputation Guide - Getting to Revered As Quickly As Possible. By following the method outlined in the Cenarion Expedition Guide, you can get Revered with the CE as early as level 65 or 66. By following the method outlined in the Sha’tar Reputation Guide, you can become revered shortly after becoming level 70 and only running through three Tempest Keep Instances.
For the other two major factions, Lower City and Keepers of Time, there unfortunately isn’t much of a “trick” to getting to Revered. Lower City is lacking in quests, so you’ll need to run Shadow Labyrinth several times and Keepers of Time is likewise devoid of juicy quest chains. Nonetheless, here is a short outline of how to get to Revered and how long it will take you.
Keepers of Time
First, go to the Caverns of Time. Talk to the little boy to compete the first quest and then take the guided tour to complete the quest “Caverns of Time.” This will grant you 260 Reputation.
Now it is time to go to Old Hillsbrad Foothills. Completing the entire quest chain will grant you 5010 Reputation. You will also gain about 900 Reputation is you do a full clear of the instance.
After this, you will eventually head into the Black Morass. Completing the associated quest chain will grant 8750 reputation. A full clear of the instance will also grant you about 1000 Reputation.
At this point, you’ll have earned approximately 15700 Reputation (humans will have about 17200). You need 3000 + 6000 + 12000 = 21000 Reputation to reach Revered. Your only choice is to run through Old Hillsbrad or Black Morass several more times.
For this reason, you may want to complete Old Hillsbrad two or three times while levelling. If, on the other hand, you are already level 70, you should focus your efforts on Black Morass. A full clear is quick (30-45 minutes), so it is the most efficient way to gain the last 4-5000 Reputation that you’ll need.
Lower City
Fortunately, there is a way to increase your reputation with Lower City prior to entering any instances or doing any quests. Find 30 [item]Arakkoa Feather[/item] and hand them in to Vekax. You will gain 250 Reputation for each hand in, as well as a bag of items that will include a green belt, some potions, and some scrolls.
Until you reach Honored, your two best choices are to run Lower City instances (Auchenai Crypts or Sethekk Halls) and repeat the [item]Arakkoa Feather[/item] hand in. The feathers are not very efficient to farm - you’ll get at most a few hand ins per hour if you farm them with a level 70 character. Instead, you should look for when they are cheap on the auction house. If you want to reach Honored exclusively through feathers, you will have to hand in 1,080 of them. Start shopping.
My suggestion would be to make one or two runs into each of the instances and round out the Reputation by handing in 7-800 feathers.
Once you reach Honored, you should go around and complete the quests in Terokkar Forest that grant Lower City Reputation. You will be able to earn around 6,000 Reputation through these quests. At this point, you’ll need to run Shadow Labyrinth two or three times to become Revered.
Good luck and happy heroics!
